My name is David Murray, I’m a pure documentary wedding photographer based in the centre of the UK in Cheshire. I am close by to photograph weddings in Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and all over the North West. I also extensively travel to different parts of the UK, working in London many times each year. Also photographing weddings has taken me abroad and I’ve photographed weddings in France, Spain and Ireland. I shoot weddings in a way that blends documentary photography with an artistic edge, very different from the mainstream wedding photographer. I am sought after by clients who want fantastic photography without the photographer having any input on their day. Apart from a small number of groups and portraits I don’t control, direct or prompt my clients and I work purely as a skilled observer.

Working from home in Cheshire I have photographed over 350 weddings to date, from Castles in Scotland to Large country Houses in the English countryside. Yet I remain humble, choosing not to work from a large expensive studio, which means you know that you are receiving great value for money and not having to pay for something that you simply don’t need.
