This was the first day of Kathryn and Nick’s two day celebrations in Essex. I travelled to photograph the first day at the simply magnificent Boreham House, built in the heart of the Essex countryside with fine views of the Vale of Chelmer it’s a truly amazing Grade I listed Mansion with a Stately avenue of trees, between which there is a breathtaking formal lake. The whole day took place at Boreham House, and although the ceremony room was a little tight the ceremony itself was an emotional one. Kathryn and Nick know just how lucky they are to have found each other. Celebrations and some of the most powerful speeches followed and then onto the dancing.
I have to admit I photographed this wedding at what was an incredibly difficult time for me on a personal level, but in Kathryn and Nick I just couldn’t have wished for more wonderful clients, Kathryn is a beautiful, kind and warm woman and Nick full of character and humour, they complement each other perfectly.
