I travelled up to Inverness in great anticipation of photographing the wedding of Alex and Nicholas. It was to take place at Inverness Cathedral, followed by celebrations with 250 guests at the family home of Alex, the bride. The Munro-Ferguson estate was splendid, 23,000 acres just 30 mins north of Inverness, with a wonderful house and beautiful landscaped gardens. Alex was a guest at a previous wedding last year at Stokesay Court and stated, after seeing the way I work and the photographs I produced, she never wanted anyone else but me to photograph the most important day of her life. It was a long day, 13hrs from the preparations the guys leaving in their sports car at midnight. I loved every moment and it was an absolute privilege to be a part of the wedding of Alex and Nicholas.

Alex wrote this to me:
