0 Helen and Simon had their first date in Athens, at the time they met Helen lived in Greece and Simon in Australia, crazy! What a beautiful couple though, they met through their Christian beliefs and this shone through in their relationship. Two warmer, kinder and in love people you couldn’t meet. Simon flew over his family and close friends from their homes in Australia, whilst Helen’s friends and family were more local. What resulted was a wonderfully intimate wedding with just 25 very special guests. As they wanted to also keep the day low key, the guys celebrated by hiring the whole of the Cock and Hoop pub in the heart of Nottingham’s Lacemarket. For me this was a wonderful day, two special people who had waited and waited, but eventually discovered their very own soul mate.
I received this from Simon:
“David, These photos are extraordinary!… You did exactly what we wanted and more again. We both watched them last night and sat in awe of your ability to transform these simple moments into pieces of art. You are an amazing photographer, and an amazing person. We constantly comment to each other at how perfect you were for our wedding. When we first approached you, Helen and I were a bit worried that you were too good for our wedding, but as we came to know you more we just began to see how personable you are, and that really gave us confidence in a decision that was honestly nerve-racking to begin with. Thank you for making our wedding even more special with your skills, character and personality. We both loved you!”
