Typically the English weather dominated Rachael and Laurence’s wedding at Coltsfoot Country Retreat. The day started of with beautiful blue skies and cotton wool clouds and ended up like the world was going to end as the sky turned threatening and the rain poured. This was another wedding I worked with my favourite videographers Reel Vision, two more talented guys you will not meet, so I knew it was going to be a good day. Being a national wedding photographer this was actually my second visit to Coltsfoot, it is a luxury boutique hotel set among 40 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, in the grounds of an old 16th century farmhouse. This hotel is the last word in modern luxury combined with typical English charm, so I could see why Rachael and Laurence chose it.
