My first visit to Lainston House will leave me with wonderful memories. Not just because my clients were so lovely, but what a stunning quintessentially English wedding venue. Lainston House was built in the 17th century and it stands elegantly in 63 acres of beautiful Hampshire parkland. As you sweep into the courtyard, delicate archways and loggias frame the picture perfect entrance and further discovery reveals a beautiful 12th century chapel ruin. The staff at Lainston were so incredibly helpful, not always the case these days unfortunately, but nothing was too much trouble for them. Kinglsey was working in Russia when he met and fell in love with his bride Yulia. Her parents and friends came over from Russia, but unfortunately due to immigration issues her brother couldn’t get there, hence the phone conversation in the earlier pictures. During the speeches Yulia’s parents had an interpreter as they didn’t speak any English. I loved shooting this wedding and I wish Yulia and Kingsley a lifetime of love and happiness.
Yulia and Kingsley wrote to me:
“Our sincere apologies! We should have responded sooner! Everything has been a bit of a whirlwind post-wedding. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE our photos. They are just great, and capture such a perfect evocation of our special day. We’ll write more when we’ve had a chance to look at them again, but we are delighted. Thank you!”
