As I continue to blog and get things up to date here we have another spring wedding, this time from Belair House in Dulwich, South London. Mimi, a truly beautiful woman originating from Bulgaria was to marry Shane, an Irishman who had a love and lust for life. It was fascinating seeing the coming together of two families from varying and quite different cultures. Mimi’s parents flew over from Bulgaria especially for this wedding and there were some quite lovely intimate moments between Mimi and her father. The weather was kind, the church again was Catholic with no photographic restrictions and the venue of Belair house just stunning. I shoot in London many times every year but this was my first visit to Dulwich Village, all I can say is wow! and how do people afford to live there! But what a location. This was a great wedding to shoot, although things ran late and we were struggling to fit things into the day I know everyone had a fantastic time, especially wonderful speeches and some great dancing.
On seeing her photographs Mimi wrote to me:
“We had such a good time on our day, everything went beyond our dreams and you have captured beautifully a lot of our emotional moments and indeed you over delivered. We chose you because you are a very talented wedding photographer, because we liked your style of natural photography and because we liked the look and the ethos of the images on your website. We love them, they are beautiful shots and you were also ever so kind to us, thank you David.”
