My penultimate wedding in September took me to a local venue Crewe Hall. Although it’s only 10 miles away from me I only shoot here a couple of times a year, I don’t know why this happens, maybe it’s because I am usually elsewhere in the UK shooting. Crewe Hall is a stunning historic 400 year-old Jacobean mansion in the heart of Cheshire, from the moment you make your way up the magnificent tree lined driveway it becomes clear that Crewe Hall is a perfect venue for any wedding.
Rachel and Stephen live in Manchester yet chose Crewe Hall to hold their wedding. The weather was beautiful on the day, as being an early Autumn/Late Summer day it could have been unpredictable, but the sun shone and the early autumn frost glistened on the grounds. It was a wonderful wedding to be a part of, an emotional service, singing waiters and speeches talking about lost loved ones brought tears to everyone’s eyes. Rachel was truly beautiful and in my communication with her this proved to be inside and out, as a more warm and caring bride I have yet to meet. Stephen is a lucky guy, and they are both so happy together.
I received this message from Rachel on seeing her photographs.
” Thank you for our Photos, they are so beautiful and so very moving and bring back wonderful memories of our special day. It was also so lovely to meet you as I was a little bit worried with not having met you before, but as soon as you introduced yourself I felt at ease straight away. This is a big thing for a stressed out bride! This feeling was then shared by all the guests as they rushed to inform me ‘your photographer is just so lovely!’ I hope everything was ok for you and you were looked after, I could see you worked so hard and didn’t stop all day and well into the night. Thank you again David, we are just so happy.”
