Sara and Alistair’s wedding was my fourth visit to Hengrave Hall, it is without doubt one of my favourite wedding venue’s. Nestled in the beautiful Suffolk countryside near Bury St Edmunds the hall itself is magnificent with a stunning long drive up to the hall. Also in the grounds is a quaint church perfect for a religious ceremony with just a short walk to the hall for your celebrations. The late spring weather was perfect for the wedding, not a breath of wind and the only noise the humming of bees around the abundance of flowers. Sara, such a beautiful bride got ready in the magnificent Queen Elizabeth bridal suite and the excitement was intoxicating. Given away by her brother the short walk to the church was full of emotion and excitement, I love Sara’s face on seeing Alistair as he waited at the end of the aisle. The staff and co-ordinator at the Hall ensured the rest of the day was perfect, a perfect bride and groom and a perfect day that I was privileged to be a part of. I hope you enjoy the photographs I created for my clients.
Sara and Alistair wrote to me:
“THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! How you managed to capture so many looks and moments, it seems you must have been at so many places at once, yet at the same time you were invisible to us! It’s such an accurate version of our day, it’s surprising how much you end up forgetting of the day you have planned for so long, but your slide show just guides us through each moment. Having you there whilst we were getting ready couldn’t have felt more appropriate, you were totally discrete and knew the right moment for some gentle encouragement and became a welcome addition to the wedding party! For the few organised shots that we wanted we were so pleased with how you executed them so efficiently, so many guests commented with what ease and clear direction you gave during these and we were so glad that it didn’t take up a huge part of people’s time, yet gave us the results that we wanted. Thank you again for the perfect memory of our day, you were AMAZING!. Mr and Mrs Fox.”
