A day at Nunsmere Hall is always a day to remember, quite simply one of my favourite wedding venue’s to work at, and I am delighted every time I’m commissioned to shoot there. Nunsmere is nestled deep in the Cheshire countryside situated between Chester and Knutsford. It’s a perfect place to celebrate your wedding, it’s exclusively yours, lots of parking, wonderful and caring staff, outstanding food and amazing gardens that especially for a summer wedding are just sublime.
Kelly had plans for an outdoor ceremony and being in the middle of July we all hoped the weather would be perfect for this, it was, not only did the sun shine, it was a scorcher, not a breath of wind and rain never threatened.
Gary is a Rugby League professional and ironically Kelly is also from a large family of very famous and outstanding Rugby League players, so for me, being a Rugby League fan it was like a who’s who of hero’s, past and present.
The day was just super, tinged with a little sadness as Kelly and Gary were moving to Australia soon after their day, Gary was to play Rugby down under, but as emotions ran high especially between Kelly and her father, the joy of two families was clear to see.
I hope you enjoy viewing Kelly and Gary’s pictures, it was an absolute pleasure to photograph from start to finish, and thank you Nunsmere Hall, I really can’t wait to come back.

“WOW David we must have looked through the album at least 6 times tonight also showing our parents and my sister. There are so many beautiful photographs and some moments that I had forgot had happened. They really have captured moments in time and are just stunning. Everybody has agreed that I did the right thing by choosing you, firstly for your talent and secondly for your style of photography that other photographers just would not have been able to capture in the way that you have. The day looks exactly how it was and we will have a hard time deciding which ones we want to display! we just love the photos of my nephew and there are beautiful ones of my sister who is my best friend so thank you.
