I have photographed many weddings at the wonderful Rookery Hall just outside Nantwich and it just gets better. Nestled in 38 acres of lawns and gardens in the countryside, this Georgian manor house features a charming lakeside gazebo for outdoor wedding ceremonies in Nantwich and a contemporary and stylish wedding breakfast venue. Floor to ceiling windows also offer uninterrupted views across the grounds and the glorious Cheshire countryside beyond. Lindsey and Steven had a wonderful day which started off at the Hall with Lindsey getting ready with her friends and family surrounding her. The ceremony was held at the magnificent ‘cathedral of south Cheshire’ St Mary’s in Nantwich. As Lindsey arrived she had a large audience waiting to see how beautiful she looked as the church is right in the centre of Nantwich surrounded by the busy shopping area. Steven is a fireman and it was arranged that a classic fire engine would be there when they came out of the church, it looked magnificent!
We then went back to Rookery Hall where luckily the rain stayed away and guests mingled and enjoyed the magnificent views.
I can’t wait to shoot again at Rookery Hall, it’s a wonderful place and definitely one of my favourite to work at thanks to so many things fitting perfectly, great food, caring staff and a beautiful location.
I received these words from Lindsey and Steven:
“WOW, your photos of our wedding are absolutely fantastic and really captured our day perfectly. We both feel so privileged to of had you there, sharing our big day with us. Everyone who has seen the slideshow so far says the photos are wonderful. Thank you David!!!”
