From the very first moment I met Jo and Adam (and their spaniel Freddy) in Manchester I knew I would love shooting their wedding. They’d chosen the Tithe Barn at Brownsolme Hall near Clitheroe, Lancashire to host their wedding day as they loved the area and Adam had proposed to Jo very near by, so where better that this magnificent barn in the height of an English summer!
Jo got ready nearby at a quaint little cottage, whilst Adam had some lunch at the local pub with friends. At the barn the weather was glorious and the setting sublime, with fantastic views over the rolling hills of the Trough of Bowland. It was an emotional ceremony, with lots of tears and joy and of memories of people who couldn’t be there. Locally sourced fish and chips followed and then some of the funniest speeches I’ve heard and enjoyed. Afterwards Jo had a surprise for Adam, she’d arranged for a 20 minute comedy session from two of her favourite comedians, great fun and then soon after the dancing started.
What a lovely day, Jo and Adam are so much in love it’s crazy, beautiful people with an wonderful future together. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures I shot from their day.
I received these words from Jo and Adam:
“Our photos Wow! Not only have you delivered them sooner than we expected, but they are so fabulous. Already since last night we have uttered the phrase “I’m so glad we chose him” dozens of times to each other and to our family and friends. You really managed to get some amazing shots, some of which we still can’t figure out how it was even possible to get such a perfect angle and timing, you are absolutely are an incredibly skilled expert of your trade! And as an individual you are so warm and friendly we both found it really easy just to enjoy the day and trust in you to capture it – fantastic job and a massive thank you from us both.”
