I’ve been so busy this year with weddings pretty much constantly every week that I am now just starting to come to terms with blogging some of my work. Claire and Paddy married at a quaint Catholic church near Ormskirk in West Lancashire, the weather was cold and breezy, befitting of an early spring day. Claire prepared for her wedding at a beautiful room at the West Tower, it was a busy morning, lots of visitors and excitement as Claire looked forward to her wedding. After I made the short journey to the church I saw Paddy looking rather nervous but he had his best man and friends with him reassuring him and calming his nerves. Claire arrived quite late which added to Paddy’s apprehension but once there the Catholic ceremony went smoothly and as usual I could photograph as much as I wanted, Catholic priests are incredibly accommodating. Back at the West Tower the celebrations mainly took place inside as the wind from the Irish sea must have dropped the temperature at least by 5 degrees. The rest of the day was amazing, great staff, great food and some wicked dancing.
If you have a wedding booked at the West Tower in West Lancs and you want a fantastic documentary photographic coverage of your day with images that will become more precious as time passes then please get in touch.
I received this from Paddy and Claire:
“David, thank you so much, we love the photos and you made us look so photogenic!”
